After failing to rescue the Wench, Sparrow struck a bargain with the ghostly captain of the Flying Dutchman, Davy Jones, to resurrect his beloved vessel. Jones returned the ship to Jack in near perfect condition except for the permanently charred hull. This prompted Jack to rename her the Black Pearl.

Because Jack was branded a Pirate because he freed people rather than stealing anything. So Norrington, with his sense of duty, knows that Jack has been branded a criminal for actively not being a terrible human being. Norrington is torn between his duty as a naval officer and knowing that Jack is right.

He freed exactly 100 people, that’s why his debt to Jones was 100 souls. Davy has a sick sense of irony after all. Jack freed 100 souls and as a consequence his ship got sunk. Now his ship has been raised and as a consequence, he has to enslave 100 souls. This explains his reluctance to actually pay back the debt.

The ingredients for Metatron’s spell were:

1. Find the angel who loves humanity the most

2. Persuade him to kill a Nephillim, one of the children born of angel/ human love

3. Persuade him to take away a Cupid’s bow, the instrument by which Heaven helps people to fall in love

4. Rip out the, now tainted, grace of the angel who loves humanity the most

God instructed angels to love humans above all else.

Metatron’s spell was aimed specifically at defiling signs of love between angels and humans (love which God explicitly commanded), thus bringing about expulsion from Heaven.

The angels fall because Metatron’s spell recasts the original angelic sin (the one which got Lucifer thrown into the pit) that of not loving humanity.

Poor Cas, his love for people (and Dean specifically) made him the essential ingredient.

Too much heart was always Castiel’s problem…

Did the people coming in here today have some sort of meeting on how to piss me off in 5 mins or less before they come in? Because they’ve almost all done brilliantly at hitting all my buttons.

-talking down to me? Check
-asking me a question muliple times because they didnt let me answer the first time or ignored my answer? Check
-gave me attitude when i answered their question? Check
-let their kids screech and make a mess everywhere? Check
-make it seem like my fault they can’t understand that if there is no sign saying X% off that it isn’t on sale? Check
-act disgusted when I say we can’t do refunds or take checks even though there are dozens of signs stating that throughout the store? Check
-constantly harp me about how horrible it is that the store is closing and we shouldn’t close and the real sensitive one who said “so i guess you’re jobless” with a snarky attitude? Check

Friendly reminder shoppers. The cashiers are people too and we’ve been working our asses off to keep the store looking as decent as possible. So the eye rolls and dramatic sighs when we’re busy or tell you we’re out of something are very unappreciated.

I’ve spent the last 2 weeks watching the store I’ve spent the last 6 months helping to gett into shape being torn apart. In less than a month my job at this store is ending and I’ll be shipped to a new store. I will most likely barely if ever see the friends I’ve made here again. So excuse fucking me if the laundry soap isn’t on sale yet.
